"I, Dahlia Volt Harrison, solemly swear not to punch somebody today." Lia grumbled into the school bathroom mirrior, tugging course red hair into tangible braids. Her rush to school had left her curls in a sloppily bun that would award her extra laps of the pool if Uncle Ricky saw her. First two classes was PE on a tuesday morning, monday was promptly skipped due to a wonderfully long night of spitting out ash from her mouth and tending to her wounds in the wee hours of four am. "Aye, thought I would find you here," Hadley, her dear normie close friend sighed. Pushing Lia's hands away as she took over the braids. "Anywa- shit did she do that to yah?" Lee growled, at five foot two the small woman in pink the woman was oddly intimidating. Lia brushed her fingers over her puffy and bruised left eye, her freckled face stiff at the mention of her ex girlfriend. "Yeah. It's nothing, she got suspension." Lia mumbled, fustration sparking in her gut. This was a slayer school and yet her slayer ex girlfriend got to take a few days off because she punched her. The fuck? I couldn't be happier. My husbands hand in mine as I walk through the academy's gates, having just dropped our wonderful little baby boy at prep. God, I never thought I would get this far in life and it felt so good to not have the looming anxiety of harming someone anytime I closed my eyes. Zach took my 'gift' away before I got married to Jaxon and while it took years before I fully recovered from the horrors of who I was, I was here. Before anyone could spot us I pecked Jaxons lips, calloused hand lightly holding his head. "Fuck I love yah so much." I murmured softly, a smile worn from age still devilish as ever. - Tuesday morning, meet Dahlia, age 17. Dawnfire

Jaxon had toned back his 'whore' aesthetic because he was a father and the idea of his son wearing the clothes he used to wear, scared the wits out of him. His hair was dyed brown, his choice to wear to school was a pink dress shirt, a deep purple suit and a deep purple tie. He seemed to be loving suits as of recently. Jaxon smiled up at his husband and hooked a finger in one of the button holes of his ironed shirt. Eric had once pointed out that he ironed his shirts and Jax was constantly making them wrinkled, so he had gotten used to hooking his fingers in the button holes- which lead to many shirts missing buttons. He pulled himself in close to Eric and smiled softly, "I think you should give me a deeper kiss than that... No Giorgie... And it's so early in the morning that hardly any kids are wandering school, so pucker up, Daddy." He purred playfully, leaning up as his hand moved to cup the back of Eric's neck, his wedding band cold against his skin. He pulled the redhead down towards him enough that as he chuckled, he rested his forehead against Erics.
Axel sat at home with his five small children running rings around him while his baby was on his chest, sleeping. He heard his second youngest- Drake- scream at his brother, causing his two German Shepherds to start barking. He groaned and stood up, almost falling over six year old Emma who was sitting on the floor drawing, black hair in waves around her freckled face. He suddenly pulled from his moment of 'she-s so cute and quiet and well behaved, she's definitely my favourite' to 'holy fuck she's drawing on the floor!' He scolded her softly and watched as from down the hall way, his oldest, Reeve, appeared. Reeve was seven- all his kids were a year apart. There was Reeve who was seven, Emma who was six, Jace who was five, Drake who was four, Cynthia who was three and the little baby girl, Julian who was two and definitely was going to grow up hating her name. After all these kids, Avery and Axel decided that one of them had to get cut- and that person was Axel who since being married seemed to have lost all signs of his backbone. Axel was also the one that generally stayed home, deciding that Avery liked working more than him. All of their group worked at the one school because they were all ex-slayers and therefore the only people who could teach at this special school. His kids went there- or they would, if he could get them in the damn car. He couldn't handle them. "All of you get dressed!" Only Reeve was actually in her uniform and Reeve smiled sympathetically at her tired, dishevelled father, taking baby Julian from him. "Drake! Go get dressed!" Reeve ordered angrily, "Emma, have you even brushed your teeth yet?" Her siblings tended to listen to her more and even though Axel felt bad that his seven year old daughter had to act like the adult, he was really grateful for all her help. He sighed heavily as his kids finally started getting ready. "Thank you love, I'm going to take Drake and Thia to daycare, please take care of Jace and Emma, make sure they get fed- and feed the dogs and the fish, and don't forget Emma- clean out your guinea pig cage!" He managed to clothe his two middle children and changed Julie before getting them all in the large family car they had and taking them to daycare.
Brayden and Burn were living in an apartment together- mainly because things with Huston fell through when they parted ways for work, and Brayden had fallen in to a no-love in life policy. Also because Burn had given up all hope on Bianca after the woman had gone all Jesus on her and sinful and blah blah, so she had no other person to care for except Brayden. Brayden arrived at the school with Burn, who still refused to wear anything except sweatpants and a jumper which remained zipped over a sports bra. The few males in the school seemed to like her- they were slayers and this girl looked as bad-ass as they got, though Bianca was favourited for how hot she was. Burn walked up to the lunch room, Brayden beside her in his loose jeans, t-shirt and jumper. They looked like the scariest and depressed pair of teachers at that school.
_ TIME AFTER NEXT GIRLS _
Jaelynn Adams stood in front of the blank wall at school, staring at the painted white, ugly, brick. She wondered for a moment, as she did every morning- How do I convince Principal Holland to let me paint on this wall? Jaelynn was a creative spirit and she happened to know that Principal Holland was too, but every time she asked the principal to let kids paint on the wall, she was shot down for some reason or another. She sighed heavily, and just as she did, she noticed someone disappearing around the corner. Behind the wall was a shed, and the back of the shed faced the back of the school which was used to train the slayers in the afternoon and morning- no one was supposed to be around there at this time. Curiosity peeked, Jaelynn wandered around the side after the person- girl or boy, she really couldn't tell from behind. The school had uniforms but very few students wore them- this person did not. Jaelynn did but her skirt and blouse were almost completely ruined with paint and such. She followed after the tattooed person, their tattoo sleeve showing because they wore a black and grey hoodie tank top. She frowned, seeing them disappear behind the shed. She followed then too, and frowned when she didn't notice anyone. She straightened up from her stalking/sneaking posture and huffed in frustration. She suddenly heard a slam, wincing at the loud noise just behind her- and then felt hands on her. She twisted and went to screech, but a hand clasped over her mouth. She got pulled inside the shed and down, her heart racing as the door swung shut and she was left in darkness. Jae opened her eyes slowly, fear gripping her. She was pressed against a girls chest- she was sure of that. She could feel the denim of jean clad legs rubbing her side, and the person's arm was hooked around her waist. She gasped as they moved their hand from her mouth and leaned in to her ear, "You really shouldn't follow strangers behind buildings, Jaelynn." Jae flushed as she realised who's voice it was in her ear and she turned to face her, "You're such a twisted bitch, Colt." Colt laughed softly, cupping her jaw and kissing her. Jaelynn smiled and kissed her back. Her eyes were closed when the shed was flooded with light. She shifted back to sit on her shins as Colt stood, moving over to join her circle of rogue friends who seemed to be sharing some vase. Jaelynn was rather innocent on the drug front but the shed was filled with the same scent that clung to Colt all the time so she wasn't bothered by it. She stood up slowly, following Colt over. Colt sat down on a cushion, reaching up to draw Jaelynn down to her lap. That was where Jae spent that morning, cuddled back against her flings chest while they all got high and talked and chatted. She closed her eyes, enjoying being cuddled in to Colt who didn't like displaying any sort of affection outside of the times when she was high. Jae really tried not to think about any of the drug related part- after all... No one was perfect, right?

Dahlia shuffled out of the bathroom, Lee having already disappeared to find Mrs Jäger for graphics help. Her mind drifted back to her dad this morning, Colt was out and about instead since one of his crew mates past. Andre died from drug overdose. Zach wasn't exactly coping, hell alters that she hadn't seen since Mom died showed up last night. She headed for the open classroom that was set up as a morning sleep room. Slumping down in a chair before looking around, some of her crew members but mostly younger kids that needed time to chill. Lia put her head down, rubbing her temples lightly.
I arched an eyebrow, "well-" and I kissed him like we were eighteen again. Toungue and all.
Bianca was stuck behind a desk, 8am and fifteen students working on a graphics and or engineering assignment that were due two weeks from now. Honestly, bless the dyslexic kid who kepts clarifying that thier discussion was fine.

Jaxon smiled against his lips, kissing him back just as eagerly, humming softly in happiness. His eyes slid closed as he lost his breath, his heart racing and his stomach tightening. Eric never failed to do that to him, cause his stomach to flip and take his breath away. He let out a soft moan and nibbled on his husband's bottom lip, smiling as he pulled away slowly. "I love you so fucking much." He whined, "It hurts me sometimes, it truly does." Axel's car pulled in to the school and Jaxon gasped, getting excited at seeing his not blood related nieces and nephew. He rushed over as the three kids piled out and Axel got out, holding baby Julie in his arms. "Ax, you look like a disaster." Jaxon pouted as Reeve cried out, "Uncle Jack!" She ran at him and Jaxon cuddled her happily, "Reeve, how are you darling?" Emma grabbed on to his leg and Jace ran over in his cute little way to cling to Eric. It had melted Jaxon's heart when Avery and Axel named their first born after his dead mother. She looked nothing like her but the personality was there. He smiled softly and crouched so he could hug the girls. A half asleep, breathless Axel stumbled over to them, "Is Avery here yet?" "Mrs Holland would most likely be in her office." Jax teased and Axel rolled his eyes, "I'm not up for your bull dust today." He refused to swear in front of his kids. He herded his kids inside the school, taking them to the primary side of the school and saying his goodbyes and have funs before going to find Avery. He almost fell asleep in the elevator. Yes, the school was so large that it had an elevator.
Quinn was sitting in the room, playing a Nintendo DS and waking up people with her angry outbursts at her game of Pokemon. Quinn was obsessed with playing games and even though she had the slayer abilities, she had very little hunger to be a slayer. She kept getting glares and such but the short fifteen year old was far too absorbed in her game to care.

Avery wasn't keen in her job but she had the skills, the qualifications and the undersanding if slayers. From birthing a wolf pack she had gained curves she never had before and... well... tits that sagged more than before and hadn't exactly shrunk. Ave sat in her desk, talking with an old friend that had finally decided what good for him. "Thanks Hue, I will call you when I have read over your papers." She tried to remain professional when she stood and walked around but Huston pulled her in for a hug. White hair mused and green eyes filled with hope for once. "Thank you, I won't let you down," he murmured, pulling away from the hug. Huston shuffled out, tired eyes to unfocused to register the run down Axel. "Hey hon," Ave greeted before straightening her pink blouse, "sorry I had to leave so early, a teen developed their abilities early last night so I had to brief the parents and... how are you?" She took her youngest child from his arms and rested her head against his shoulder. Ave rocked her little bub to silence again, smilling up at Axel.
After five to six annoying game attack noises Lia stood up and marched over, yanking the gameboy out of her hands. "Cafeteria, outside, office and playground are places of free time noise but you little shit decided to disturb the one time we," she waved her finger in a circle to include everyone, "get proper sleep." Lia scowled, teeth snapping involuntarily in a mimic of a zombie, something Jeopa- another of Zach's alters- did when they were pissed. "Get headphones or get out, please." The please was added at the last moment, an after thought that she had to be nice and really shouldn't punch anyone.

Axel was so exhausted that he didn't register that Huston just walked past. All he registered was his wife and relief flooded his eyes. She always looked so well put together... He pouted as she took Julian, hugging her tightly and burying his face in her neck, "I'm great..." He lied softly, never ever going to complain about the family they created.
Quinn looked up at her and stood, frowning at the half foot of difference in their height. Whatever, the short girl couldn't get intimidated. "This is the only spot I'm allowed to linger without being approached by people." She grabbed her DS back and saved her game as the bell rang, "You're always so temperamental, Lia."

It had taken Avery years to find Axels lie marker but when she did she didn't point it out. Avery curled into Axels body as she pattered her little baby girls back gently. "Guess what?" Ave whispered, "its date night tonight and Liv would love to take the pack." She smirked a little, loving that Liv- a woman she never used to know- loved her little clan. When Liv tried to have her first child there were complications, resulting in her unable to carry and soon a family twin foster kids instead, Brian was still faithful if not a better chef than ever. "Want to leave Julian with me? I still have my spare nappy bag and harness." She then suggested, pressing a light feather kiss to his throat. Still a teaser.
Lia tried to do what Eric suggested. Pause, breath, hands away, think. She got to pause before she had kicked Quinn in the shin and elbowed her way past. "Fuck off midget, you know nothing about me." Dahlia snarled, plaits boucing on her back and she strode out. In fact, Quinn probably knew what the entire school knew. Harrison's are the murder family. The heart ripping, souless, merciless, blood bathed family that had to many stories to go woth the name. Jäger wasn't any better. Lia wasn't about to prove them wrong either, hell she painted her right hand fingernails red to emphasise it.

Axel smiled softly at her mention of date night and Liv. "Sounds good..." He said softly. He kissed her, slowly and gently, his love obvious. "I'll take Julian though... I feel weird when the house is empty and you have to work- was that Huston?" He only just registered that Huston had walked past five minutes ago.
Colt walked in to the school building, her and Jae standing a good distance apart once again. Jae saw the Harrison girl striding down the hall and skipped over to her, "Hey, you okay?" The girl seemed like everyone had formed their own opinions on her before even meeting her- but Jae liked to keep an open mind.
Burn and Brayden found the notices printed out in a heap in the teachers lounge. Both took a piece of paper each before heading to their classes. Brayden adjusted the bag on his shoulder and Burn disappeared in to her wood work class, greeting them rather emotionless.

Lia pressed her palm to her non sore eye, feeling stupid and girly for the sudden burst of tears. "No." She managed to squeak before locking her jaw and swipping at more tears. You will become more emotional, rational thoughts can and will be no existent as things continue to develop. Like hell was she going to open up to some random that she shared classes with but then... she didn't exactly have anyone to talk to anyway. Pain sparked in her chest at the sick reminder that her friends left her when the first body showed up. At least psychotic bitch was better than lesbo dyke, right?
Avery pouted, leaning in for more kisses. She didn't want to teach complex numbers to maths C students. She wanted to cuddle Axel with tea and Julian. "Okay... take her please, before I become gladiator Mum and steak her for the day." Ave snickered, mind thrown back to when she refused to leave their first child with Axel, resulting in a baby harness and four weeks of carrying a child around school. "I need to prep my class..." Ave added poutily.
Zara skipped and twirled to her homeroom, blonde hair that reached her bottom swirled behind her in brushed curls. Her pink floral shirt fluttered as she brushed past Dahlia and slipped into the classroom. Things were going great this year. Absolutely snazzy. If you didn't count last years trouble of the plane crash that killed her parents and almost herself, opening her eyes to the zombies as if life just loved her. Despite that she smiled, learning to live as if each day might be her last. Zara slipped into a front row seat, bullet journal and coloured pens already out and writing down Mrs Jägers notices off the board. Poor Ms had homeroom in the graphics room as well.

Axel chuckled, kissing her again and again before taking Julian from her. "Work hard and you better be home as soon as that end bell rings, don't stay for the slayer classes because I want a long date night. I neeeeed a long date night." He winked and kissed her once more before going back to the elevator.
Jae frowned and stopped her, standing in front of her, "Hey... If you need to talk... You can talk to me, you know?" She looked at the red head in surprise, "who did that to you?" she asked, referring to the black eye.

Lia's shaking had stopped, tears pausing for the time being. "Ex, unimportant... Um, when can I talk to you?" She didn't know Jae to well but the girl had a record for doing it for the common good and she was one if the few that talked to her. So called best friend that braided her hair was a trivial friend, as in only talk about school and maybe TV if she was lucky. Nobody was close. Dahlia adverted her eyes, realising she was staring at the girl like she was a piece of meat. "Actually forget I ever said anything." Lia gushed after too many seconds passed. She began her escape with a step backwards.
"Wasn't planning on it, Eric has it covered- please pick up some lactose free milk before you go home, I think that's why little Drake keeps getting an upset tummy." Avery flashed a smile of yellow teeth, forever damaged from her bulimia. She grabbed Axel by the collar and kissed him harder than before. "Love you jack-butt, see you soon." She turned with a wave, grabbing her already packed bag.

He laughed softly at the censored nickname and said, "Love you too." He got in to the elevator, smiling at Julian as the baby stared at him wide eyed. He suddenly felt quite a bit more energised...
Jae frowned and reached out to her, not noticing her staring at her, "No... Let me give you my number." She said, "We can meet up after training this afternoon."
Colt walked in to her homeroom, seeing Ms Jäger there. She nodded to her and sat beside Zara, leaning back in her chair with a docile look, evidently high.

Zara smiled as she pulled out her floral perfume bottle and sprayed it in Colts direction. Mrs Jäger didn't mention it but she clearly noticed, instead calling role. "Lia and Jae are just outside Ms, they will be in soon." Zara's sweet Louisiana farm girl accent filtering in on the harder vowles. "Colt, did you do the maths homework or do you want my notes?" Zara asked quietly, hands already digging for her maths book.
Lia was fast to flinch back from the touch but slow to process and slow to nod. She slipped out her phone from her pocket, thumbing it a little before passing it over. "You really don't have to, I understand if you don't want to whatever," She mumbled, trying not to stare at their boots now. Where was one supposed to look when Jae looked like THAT??

Jae giggled softly, taking the phone from her, "I'd be happy to at any time." she gave her the number, saving her contact as 'JaeBaby' before opening a new contact in her own phone to add in Lia's number.
Colt screwed her nose up and looked at Zara after she sprayed the perfume. She shook her head, "Nah... I did the homework, thanks though, Zara..." She half closed her eyes, resting her head in her hand. The homerooms at this school were not just home rooms, they were the teams that were supposed to be training together, taking classes together, everything so that when theybgraduated, they worked together perfectly. The homeroom teacher was the teams mentor for training and if anything school related. Colt looked up as Quinn walked in, walking straight in to a desk since she had her nose pretty much against her DS screen.
